At HONEY, we believe family - like love - doesn’t follow a single path.

And for far too many people, building one comes with barriers that feel overwhelming, expensive, and unfair.

In Canada, 1 in 6 people face fertility challenges. Access to care is limited. Government support is minimal. And for many, the cost alone can put the dream of starting a family out of reach.

As a queer couple, this isn’t abstract for us. It’s personal. What started as our own journey opened the door to hundreds of conversations with people navigating the same reality, all trying to build families in a system that offers very little support.

Daisy Baby is the charitable arm of HONEY.

It exists because we don’t believe access to family-building support should be reserved for the few who can afford it.

We’re not doctors. We’re not a medical foundation. We’re planners, creators, and community-builders who know how to bring people together with intention. So we’re doing what we do best - creating meaningful events that raise funds, spark conversation, and help make the path to family a little more possible.

Because sometimes, when there’s no seat at the table, you build one - together.

Mission

Daisy Baby exists to reduce the financial barriers to fertility care by providing direct grants to families-in-waiting, with a focus on LGBTQ+ families, who often face additional systemic and financial obstacles when building their families.

Fertility care in Canada is costly, under-funded, and often inaccessible. For LGBTQ+ families, those barriers are compounded. Daisy Baby provides financial support to help make family-building more possible.

2026 marks our launch year. Our initial goal is to support up to three families, with the intention to grow our impact year over year.

How it works

No fluff. No mystery. No “where did my money go?”

Dedicated Account: Every dollar raised goes straight into Daisy Baby’s account, separate from HONEY.
Advisory Committee: A small panel reviews applications and approves grants (so it’s not just us calling the shots).
Transparency: After every event, we publish what was raised, what was spent, and who received the grants. Full stop.
